David May
Chief Marketing Officer
David May is the Chief Marketing Officer for AIG. His work integrates brand marketing, reputation, and corporate culture to help companies establish a strategic public voice. Leading corporate brand marketing, David is responsible for AIG’s digital and content marketing, market research, brand strategy and design, advertising and sports sponsorship programs, and corporate social responsibility.
Prior to AIG, David was Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, which he joined in 1996 to create the corporate Brand Marketing Group. His efforts established board-level consensus for a global brand positioning that supported revenue growth from $7.5B in 1997 to over $51.0B.
